The picture is of my Dad and 2 of his navy buddies in uniform, with another va-va voom dame draped across their lap. I also found documents commemorating that he was a part of "Operation Crossroads" (the Bikini Atoll tests). I believe he was on "The Apple" (U.S.S. Apalachian). I just stumbled across a similar picture of my Dad from 1945, and it is in a “Benny the Bum’s” photo holder.

My Dad was the owner of "BENNY THE BUM'S" on O'Farrell st in s.f. I think I may have some pictures of your dad, that one you posted looks familuar. I have a box full of pics from that era in storage somewhere. I am not sure if this is going to get to the person who posted it thought I would try. Let me know if you get it.
